2. Scope and legal basis
This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit www.wisepathsolutions.ch and when you contact us, for what purposes, and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the Data Protection Ordinance (DPO). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies in an individual case, for example to visitors from the EU/EEA, we also comply with its requirements.
“Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. “Processing” means any handling of personal data, in particular collecting, storing, using, disclosing and deleting.
3. Visiting the website (server log files)
This is a purely informational website without user accounts, an online shop or a contact form. When you access the website, your browser automatically transmits certain data to the server of our hosting provider for technical reasons. This includes:
- the IP address of the accessing device,
- date and time of access,
- the page or file requested and the amount of data transferred,
- the referrer URL (previously visited page), if transmitted by your browser,
- browser type and version and operating system.
This data is stored in server log files. It is technically necessary to deliver the website and serves to ensure stable and secure operation (e.g. to prevent attacks and analyse errors). It is not combined with other data sources or evaluated for marketing purposes. The log files are automatically deleted by the hosting provider after a short period unless a security-related analysis is required. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website.
4. Hosting
The website is operated on the servers of an external hosting provider, which processes the data mentioned in section 3 on our behalf (processor). We have concluded the agreements required under data protection law with the hosting provider and ensure that the data is processed exclusively according to our instructions and with appropriate technical and organisational security measures.
5. Cookies and local storage
This website uses no cookies, in particular no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
Only your language choice (German or English) is stored in your browser's “local storage” so that the website is displayed in your preferred language on your next visit. This entry contains no personal data, is not transmitted to us or to third parties, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. Without a stored language choice, the displayed language follows your browser's language setting; this evaluation also takes place exclusively locally in your browser.
6. No analytics, tracking or third-party services
We do not use any web analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics), social media plugins, embedded maps or videos, or advertising networks on this website. The fonts and all other resources are loaded locally from our own server; no connections are established to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts).
7. Contact by email, phone and appointment requests
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, company, contact details, content of your enquiry) exclusively to respond to your enquiry, to prepare an introductory call and, where applicable, to initiate, perform and administer a contractual relationship.
The “Request an appointment” button opens your own email program with a pre-filled message to adrian@wisepathsolutions.ch. No data is transmitted via or stored on our website; the transmission only takes place when you send the email via your email provider. You decide which information to include in the message. Please note that unencrypted emails are not fully protected against access by third parties in transit. Please send us confidential information only after prior arrangement or via another channel.
Data from enquiries is retained for as long as necessary to process the enquiry and the subsequent business relationship, or as long as statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. for business correspondence, generally ten years).
8. Disclosure of personal data and transfers abroad
We only disclose personal data where this is necessary to fulfil the respective purpose, in particular to our hosting provider and to the provider of our email services, or where we are legally obliged to do so. Personal data is not disclosed for advertising purposes or sold.
Our service providers generally process personal data in Switzerland or in the EU/EEA. Should a disclosure to a country without adequate data protection be necessary in an individual case, we ensure the protection of your data through appropriate safeguards, such as the standard data protection clauses recognised by Switzerland.
9. Data security
This website is delivered exclusively via an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Please note, however, that data transmission over the internet, in particular by email, may have security gaps and that complete protection cannot be guaranteed.
10. Retention period
We process and store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose, as long as we have a legitimate interest in retaining it (e.g. to assert or defend claims), or as long as statutory retention obligations require. The data is then deleted or anonymised.
11. Your rights
Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you have the following rights:
- to obtain information on whether and which personal data we process about you,
- to have inaccurate or incomplete personal data corrected,
- to have your personal data deleted, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this,
- to restrict processing and to object to processing,
- to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a common electronic format (data portability),
- to withdraw any consent given, with effect for the future.
To exercise your rights, an informal message to the address given in section 1 is sufficient. We reserve the right to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority; in Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
12. Links to third-party websites
This website contains links to third-party websites (e.g. the website of our web agency). We have no influence on their content or data processing; the privacy notices of the respective operators apply.
13. Changes to this privacy policy
We may amend this privacy policy at any time, in particular if our data processing changes or new legal requirements apply. The version published on this website at the time applies.
